How many times can a hardwood floor be refinished?
Solid hardwood can typically be refinished 4–7 times over its life, depending on plank thickness. Engineered floors can usually take 1–2 refinishes.
How long does the project take?
A 1,000 sq ft floor refinish typically takes 4–6 days from sanding to final coat. You will need to stay off the floor for the full process.
Can you change the stain color?
Yes. Refinishing is the perfect time to go darker, lighter, or change the tone entirely. We can show you sample stains on a discreet patch of your floor.
