These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of melosconstructionkc.com (the “Site”) and any related services provided by Melos Construction LLC (“Melos Construction,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or requesting our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site for lawful purposes only and not in a way that infringes on the rights of others, restricts their use of the Site, or interferes with its operation.

2. Estimates & Quotes

Estimates provided by Melos Construction are based on the information available at the time of inspection. Final pricing may change if scope, conditions, or materials change. All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

3. Services

Our services include construction, remodeling, painting, drywall, basement finishing, flooring, bathroom remodeling, door and window replacement, siding, and roofing. Specific scope and deliverables for each project will be documented in a signed agreement before work begins.

4. Payment

We currently accept the following payment methods: Zelle, Cash, Check, Venmo. Payment terms — including deposits, milestone payments, and final payment — are set out in your signed project agreement.

5. Warranty

We offer a 2-year workmanship warranty on most installation services, including flooring, windows, siding, and similar work. Painting carries a manufacturer-paint warranty only. Warranty terms are detailed in your project agreement and may exclude damage caused by misuse, accidents, weather events, or normal wear and tear.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation terms are governed by the signed project agreement. Deposits may be non-refundable once materials have been ordered or scheduled work has begun.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of Melos Construction LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without prior written consent.

8. Project Photos

We may photograph completed projects for portfolio, marketing, and social media use. We will not publish identifying information about you or your address without your consent. If you prefer your project not be photographed, please let us know in writing before work begins.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Melos Construction LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our services.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those websites.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kansas.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
